Since September 2009, the Tegernseer Bräustüberl's white and blue "Buzi Balloon" has been regularly taking off for balloon rides over the valley. Ballooning means peace, time, and freedom—and sometimes even a spectacular crossing of the Alps all the way to Italy. In about four hours, you'll experience heavenly views and enjoy a leisurely journey over one of Bavaria's most beautiful landscapes. Guests are welcome to take photos, film, and enjoy a traditional balloonist baptism after landing. The fact that the balloon also happens to be advertising the best Tegernseer beer makes the ride all the more enjoyable.
